May 18, 1921 - May 31, 2019
Vicki passed peacefully from this life to join her husband Louis, son Philip, daughter Nancy and Stanley Oberstar in the next life. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Dambach (Michael, deceased) and son, Wayne Wlodarski (Mary). She was the youngest of five, first generation siblings of the Slosar family in Cleveland. A mother of four, grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of ten, Vicki enjoyed working outside, donating her time to church and charities, crocheting afghans, baking, playing cards with friends and traveling. She was also a professional woman having worked for the Cleveland Trust Bank (now KeyBank) for more than 28 years as a data processor. All who knew her will remember Vicki as a caring, intelligent, strong and generous person. She touched many lives. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 28th at 10 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church located at 175 East 200th Street in Euclid, at the corner of East 200th and Lake Shore Blvd. Visitation with family will be held at the church before the Mass at 9am. Grave site services will be held immediately after the Mass at All Souls Catholic Cemetery, 10366 Chardon Road in Chardon. The family is hosting a lunch reception starting at 1:30pm at Kristy’s Tavern and Restaurant, 434 East 200th Street in Euclid. All are welcome to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN in her name would be greatly appreciated. It was her favorite charity.
