DEACON LOUIS GEORGE PECEK, Ph.D. Died October 20. Son of the late Louis and Justina (Turek). For 62 years husband of Mary Ann (Berlon). Father of Bob (Marcia ), Margaret Rahlfs (Bill), Vickie Lynch (Rich), and Kate Waksmunski (Mark). Grandfather of Brian (Meghan) and Kevin (Ashley) Lynch, and Joshua, Matthew, Emma, and Sarah Pecek. BA., College of the Holy Cross, M.A. John Carroll University, Ph.D., The Ohio State University. Ordained to the Order of Deacon by Bishop Anthony Pilla, June 4, 1983. Faculty and administration at John Carroll 1959 to 1996, retiring as Assistant Academic Vice-President and Director of Institutional Research. Deacon, St. Paul Euclid 1983-2009. Judge Diocesan Tribunal 1996-2001. The family will receive friends at the JAKUBS & SON FUNERAL HOME, 936 EAST 185 ST. ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1st FROM 2:00-7:00 PM AND ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 2nd AT ST. CASIMIR PARISH, 18022 NEFF RD FROM 10:00 until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, St. Ignatius High School or St. Casimir Parish.
