ALBERT A. GECEWICZ, age 89, passed away on September 24th, at home in Mentor. Born in Cleveland, Albert had resided in Leroy Twp. before moving to Mentor in June. He is survived by siblings, Ted and Helen Guest; daughters, Barbara (John deceased) Beaumont, Linda Marie S.N.D. and Theresa (Joseph) Greene; grandchildren, Matthew, Kathryn and Gillian Greene. Born on May 23, 1919, he was a W.W.II veteran, an accountant and self-taught handyman. He loved music, photography, politics and gardening. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife "Ruthie" (in 2000), whom he loved dancing with. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, at 9:30 a.m., at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH. A private burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. Mrs. Nero died July 20, 2008, in Eastlake.
Born July 21, 1915, in Cleveland, she lived in Painesville before moving to Eastlake 10 years ago.
Mrs. Nero was a member of St. John Vianney Church and supported Catholic Charities. She was a loving wife and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sisters-in-law, Stella, Mary and Ruth Zagorski.
Her husband, John; parents, John and Mary Zagorski; brothers, George, Thomas, Joseph and Donald Zagorski; and sisters, Dorothy Lawson and Edna Melvald, are deceased.

Funeral Mass for Paul A. Pescho, 82, of Willowick, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, E. 320th and Vine St., Willowick.
Mr. Pescho died July 5, 2008, in Willoughby.
Born Dec. 31, 1925, in Burgettstown, Pa., he lived in Willowick for 45 years.
He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran, serving on the USS Texas and was a member of the Willowick VFW, the American Legion and a longtime member of SNPJ.
Mr. Pescho retired in 1991 as a stockroom supervisor for Lucas Machine in Cleveland after 40 years of service. Since his retirement, he had been the "first mate" for Lake Erie Charters out of the Chagrin River.
Survivors are his wife, Bernadine (nee Kluska); daughter, Diane Weakland; sons, Paul Jr. and James; grandchildren, David and Allison Varhol and Nicole and Alexx Pescho; and sisters, Pauline Cullari, Mary Denny, Dorothy Liptak and Josephine Kisla. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews.
His parents, John and Anna Pescho; brothers, John, George, Mike and Andy; and sisters, Irene, Ann and Helen, are deceased.
Friends may call 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Jakubs-Danaher Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.

ELAINE MARIE SIMONITIS, age 61. Beloved daughter of Stella H. and Frank M. Attended Deepwood Sheltered Workshop in Willoughby for many years. Funeral Mass Monday, July 7, St. Mary Magdalene Church at 10:00 AM. Interment All Souls Cemetery.
